Bihar State Health Society Community Health Officer-CHO Job Notification 2025-Age Limit Criteria:
Age Limit – As of 01.04.2025, the minimum age should be 21 years and the maximum age should not exceed the following limits according to the reservation category:
Maximum Age Limit of Male & Female:
a. Unreserved Category / EWS (Male) – 37 years
b. Backward Class / Extremely Backward Class (Male and Female) – 40 years
c. Unreserved Category / EWS (Female) – 40 years
d. Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (Male and Female) – 42 years
(ii) As per General Administration Department, Government of Bihar’s Resolution No. 962, dated 22.01.2021, Divyang (Persons with Disabilities) are given an upper age limit relaxation of 10 years.
(iii) According to the provisions of the notification issued by the State Health Committee, Bihar under the name of Bihar Contractual Appointment Rules-2021, reservation and age relaxation will be applicable.
(iv) As per the provision of General Administration Department, Bihar Government’s Resolution No. 212, dated 23.01.2006, and its updates till 01.01.2022, candidates claiming reservation or relaxation under any of the above points (ii), (iii), or (iv) must provide proper proof for the same by 01.04.2025, otherwise they will not be considered eligible under that category.
